here's my incipient process right now:

1. greet pt.  elicit pt to candidly tell experience/story
2. show them you've heard their story by recounting yr core understandings of their sharings
3. facilitate exploration of their feelings in the moment of recounting the story
4. aid them in articulating their primary emotions and triggers
5. guide them to reflect on their sources of spiritual strength/drain: key relationships with divinity within, between, among, and beyond
6. (have fun brainstorming on ideas)
7. send whiteheadian process theology angels from god for potentially limitless list of potential actions
8. consider ramifications, risks, theological and moral reflection
9. narrow down and engage with a choice
10. encourage pt toward spiritual growth through practicing that choice and allowing it to bloom into the world.
