May I let my voice be a clarion call. I will use these words for justice. I will use these words for truth. And humour.

All my posts lately have been so short...

.

Sorry about that.

Anyway, here's a link to a neat song I found from NewEden.org. I don't subscribe to the video's theology of a eucatastrophic discontinuity theory (a.k.a. that kind of rapture) and the substitutional salvation accompanying it, but still a good song.

Maybe I'll cover it some day with a spin.

Word of the Day: Eucatastrophe

.lyrics: "Kiss them for me." Siouxsie and the Banshees

colors: Very gray.

mood: Sad that a former boss from Sonic Foundry just passed away. I think he was my age, actually. Could use a bit of a eucatastrophe right about now.

chant/prayer/mantra: Let there be light to show all of the blocks impeding us from success. Let there be energy to pursue our dreams.

Wise Words from a Bud

Here's a video made by a friend of mine.

my notes... for "both can live while the other survives…"

Its kinda crazy when you think about it, it actually, it all starts out just so simple..

Everything in place and the stage is set for and incredible adventure, no prejudice, nothing but love, everything in order. For some people it might be the only time in their lives when things seem truly simple.... See More

Typically, it’s their own undoing really, over time, and through a sequence of what seems like trivial choices, a life can..well… be lost into a sea of misalignment.

The actually choices that create this twisted path toward misadventure rarely are recognized, Its only after a period of time or a unique spark that reinvigorates the quizzical nature as to what should be going on in a person’s life.
---- “What would make them happy?”

But I think it’s really simple. Often all it takes is one good friend to take a look. In many cases, it’s just a fresh perspective on a f’d up situation.

Often the friend has his own fires that need attention.

It’s not about conforming to accepting social standards in the end. All that matters is that you dealt with the situation the best you can and you let your friends help you.

The cycle then repeats
---- “You become the friend, and the friend becomes you”
